We found a pair of eyes today
A pretty pair of prying eyes
They woo us and make us gasp with awe
Changing in sunlight, a blue-gold shimmer
Hypnotizing our souls and changing our lives
Yet with days to come, we care less and less
Ocular phantasms that burn the world away
Under a perfect brow
Repeatedly they entice us with their thin veil of orange blaze
Simple organs that captivate our souls and lead us like moths to flame
Extravagant lips to accompany the lot
Lovingly made with a wanton wish in mind
Freeing me from the world of norm in which I once lived
